滑片式压缩机采用传统的技术,以较低的速度直接进行驱动。转子是连续运行的部件,上面有若干个沿长度方向切割的槽,其中插有可在油膜上滑动的滑片。

转子在气缸的定子中旋转,在旋转期间,离心力将滑片从槽中甩出,形成一个个单独的压缩室,旋转使压缩室的体积不断减小,空气压力不断增大,通过注入加压油来控制压缩产生的热量, 进而就完成了对空气的压缩。
